The site content has been created and written by Dave, a long time paddler of 30 years+, an experienced Paddlesport Instructor and a trainee kayak & canoe coach.

He has been kayaking and canoeing on rivers, lakes and the sea all around the UK. He is experienced on white water and has attended many kayaking and canoeing courses including white water rescue.

He can roll a kayak and hasn't 'fished' (failed to roll and swam!) in a long time. Tempting fate perhaps.

His trips include Scotland (Etive, Findhorn, Orchy, Roy, Spey), Wales (Tryweryn, Dee, Stanley Embankment, Anglesey, Llangennith, The Bitches, Artro, CIWW, Usk, Whitesands, Barmouth, Black Rock Sands, Rest Bay) and England (Holme Pierrepont, Trent, Severn, Teme, Ure, Nene, Avon, Soar, Sennen Cove, Marizion, Croyde Bay).
